Homophones: Its and it's
These two homophones are often confused. You can see them spelled incorrectly every day. Try to make sure that you know which is which:"it's" is the shortened form of "it is" or "it has".
For example: He's replacing his computer because it's very old. It's become very unreliable.
"its" means "belonging to it".
For example: The dog wagged its tail.
